Early and Personal Life
Suliane Brahim was born on April 1, 1978 in Chartres, France. As of 2021, she is 43 years old. She was the eldest of the three children born to a Moroccan father and Breton mother. She grew up in Bourges, France. She went to the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and specialized in the Swahili language. While she planned to pursue a humanitarian career, Suliane also had an interest in acting and did theatre at École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre.
Career
Suliane Brahim made her acting debut in 1996 as a theater artist. Some of her popular plays include Peer Gynt, Dom Juan, Lucrezia Borgia, and Romeo and Juliet. After becoming a successful theater artist, Suliane stepped into the TV and film industry. She went on to grab many big and small roles in several TV shows and films. She portrayed the lead role of Laurène Weiss in the French TV series Zone Blanche (Black Spot). Suliane also played the lead role of a single mother Virginie in the film La nuée. Her character Virginie in the film goes on to breed edible grasshoppers to save herself and her family from bankruptcy. Suliane played another major role of Lisette in yet another hit movie Que d'amour!
