Sufetula diminutalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Walker in 1866. It is found in Florida, the Caribbean (including Bermuda, Cuba), southern Central America (including Panama, Honduras, Costa Rica) and South America (including Colombia, Peru)

The length of the forewings is 4.5–7.5 mm. Adults are on wing year rounds.

The larvae feed on the roots of palm species, boring into the growing tips of roots.
