Suawan High School

Suawan High School was established in 2007 as the Annex of Lower Tamugan National High School. It was through the initiative of its Barangay Captain (head of Barangay) Mrs. Teodora G. Amoy creating a local high school to cater its growing youth population. The majority of its students are from the neighboring sitios (Barangay partition).

Most of the students are from families engaging in farming, they also have ethnic origins like Ata, Guingan, Manobo, Matigsalog (ethnic tribes of Davao City), and others.

At present, it has a population of 185, composing of two sections per year level. It is headed by Mr. Rodrigo J. Cayanong (School-in-Charge) with ten teaching faculty members.
