Stuart Tayler Smith is a New Zealand politician who was elected to the New Zealand parliament at the 2014 general election as a representative of the New Zealand National Party.

Political career
Smith is a former chairman of the New Zealand Winegrowers Association. In 2013 he contested the National Party selection for the KaikÅura seat, defeating incumbent Colin King. He was elected at the 2014 election with a majority of 12,570 votes.
