Structure from motion (SFM) refers to how humans recover depth structure from rotating objects.

  1. SFM from 1st order velocities.
  2. SFM from 2nd order optic flow and perspective effects.
  3. Surface slant from def.
  4. Some authors report that for non-forntoparallel axes of rotation the perceived shape is distorted beyond a depth scaling factor.
