The Stopmolophidae are a family of true jellyfish from the West Atlantic and Pacific containing a single genus, Stomolophus. In addition to the species listed below, Nomura's jellyfish (Nemopilema nomurai) was formerly included in this genus, though now it has been placed within the Rhizostomatidae.

Species

According to the World Register of Marine Species, Stomolophus includes two species:

  • Stomolophus fritillarius
