Steven Foti (December 3, 1958) is a Wisconsin politician and legislator. Born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Foti was a real estate salesman and ex-bartender before serving in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1983 until 2003. Foti was named majority leader by Assembly Republicans in 1997. After leaving the Wisconsin Legislature in 2005, Foti became a lobbyist. In 2006, Foti was convicted of the misuse of campaign funds. He served a 60-day jail sentence and paid $57,935 in restitution. He was also given two years of probation and ordered to perform 240 hours of community service.
