Steve Wieberg is a member of the initial College Football Playoff selection committee and a writer/editor in the public affairs department of the Kansas City, Mo. Public Library. He was a USA Today college football reporter for 30 years.
Wieberg was inducted into the United States Basketball Writers Association Hall of Fame in 2008. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a degree in journalism in 1980.
