Stephan Eriksson is a Swedish lawyer (born in Stockholm 17th of March 1961) is specialized in aviation mass disaster litigation and has worked on several aviation mass disaster accidents, including the Air France Concorde flight AF 4590 air disaster in Gonesse, France, on July 25, 2000, the Scandinavian Airlines Flight SK 686 air disaster in Milan, Italy, on October 8, 2001 and the DHL/Bashkirian Airlines midair collision over Uberlingen, Germany, on July 1, 2002. During 2004 he advised the families in Flash Air, flight 604, Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, January 3, 2004. He represented a majority of the families of Helios Airways flight 522 air disaster in Grammatikos, Greece, August 14, 2005. He represented families in Kenya Airways flight 507 air disaster in Douala, Cameroon, May 5, 2007, the families in Air France flight AF 447, 2009 and many families in Air India Express flight IX 812, 2010. He is currently representing the families in Bhoja Air flight 213, 2012. He is now focusing on consumers rights connected with EU-law 261/2004, offering legal assistance to the swedish company TRS Travelright.

Who´s Who and Legal Media Group´s Expert guides has appointed him one of the world’s leading aviation lawyers. Stephan Eriksson has an education in Aviation Law from the Institute of Air and Space Law, McGill University, Montreal, Canada, where he also is appointed adjunct professor and regularly lectures. The IASL has offered education in Aviation and Space Law for more than fifty years. In its field, the IASL Air Law education is possibly the best in the world. As chair of the PEOPIL Aviation EEG he regularly organizes aviation seminars together with McGill University. The last conference was held in London April 19-21, 2012, see program.

Since the start of the 90s, Stephan Eriksson has been practising tort law in the United States and has during the years been involved in numerous law proceedings within US State and Federal Courts, primarily Sweden oriented.
