Stenoma explicita is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1930. It is found in ParĂ¡, Brazil.

The wingspan is about 19 mm. The forewings are whitish ochreous closely irrorated grey, appearing light greyish ochreous and with the extreme costal edge ochreous whitish. The stigmata are blackish, the plical very obliquely beyond the first discal, a dark grey dot towards the costa rather beyond the first discal, a short fine grey dash in the disc beyond the first discal. There is a curved transverse series of faint greyish linear marks beyond the cell, towards the costa indented and forming two or three more distinct grey dots. A curved series of grey dots is found from the costa at four-fifths to the dorsum near the tornus, sinuate-indented towards the costa and there is a marginal series of blackish dots from one the end of this to the other. The hindwings are rather dark grey.
