Steineiche is the first demo album by Swiss one-man black metal band Paysage d'Hiver. "Steineiche" is the German word for the holly oak tree; the tree is described on Kunsthall's website as the 'centre of the world'. Originally released in a limited run of 500 hand-numbered CD-R copies, it was reissued in 2010 on CD.

The original release featured a fourth track, "Déjà vu", which was not included on the 2010 reissue, presumably because it contained an uncleared sample of the David Crosby song 'Orleans' from his album If I Could Only Remember My Name.
