The State Security Service (Serbian Cyrillic: Служба државне безбедности or SDB; also Ресор државне безбедности / RDB), was the security agency within the Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia that aimed to protect the country from internal threats.

History
It was formed in March 1991 after the dissolution of State Security Administration. It was dissolved in July 2002, to be replaced with Security Information Agency on 1 August 2002.
Special Forces
Special Forces, also known as Yugoslav Paramilitaries, were part of the SDB. The leader of the Yugoslav special forces was Jovica Stanišić.
Red Berets
Special Operations Unit also known as the Red Berets were incorporated into the Yugoslav special forces in 1996.
