State Lodge Is an official residence of the President of Sierra Leone and is located at the affluent neighborhood of Hill Station in the West End of Sierra Leone's capital Freetown[1][2][3].

Though the State Lodge is an official residence of the president of Sierra Leone; the State House is both the principle official residence, and the working place and official office of the Sierra Leone's president as well as the meeting place with visiting Heads of State and members of the international community.

Sierra Leone's current president Ernest Bai Koroma resides at the State Lodge.

Security

The State Lodge mansion is heavily guarded by the Presidential Guard, which is made up of a special unit of soldiers of the Sierra Leone Armed Forces, and a special unit of police officers of the Sierra Leone Police.
