The Stand Up to Stop Suicide comedy event was held at the Clapham Grand in South London. It was organised by Claire Antsey in order to raise awareness of the problem of male suicide and to raise money for Campaign Against Living Miserably, a charity which provides young men with sources of help and support.

Many prominent names in UK TV and stand-up comedy performed short sets. Among them were Simon Amstell, Ed Byrne, Richard Herring and Robin Ince, Phil Nichol, Daniel Kitson, Matthew Holness, Hattie Hayridge and Paul Sinha. David Baddiel, who is a patron for CALM, acted as host, whilst Stephen Merchant auctioned off goody bags.
