Stan Sanvel Rubin is an American author who currently resides in Washington state. In 2006, Rubin published his third full-length collection titled, Hidden Sequel, which won the Barrow Street Book Prize in 2005. A fourth, "There. Here.", will be published by Lost Horse Press. His works have been included in the anthology, Long Journey: Contemporary Northwest Poets, published by the Oregon State University Press. Rubin also writes essay-reviews of poetry for Water-Stone Review. He directs the Rainier Writing Workshop low residency MFA at Pacific Lutheran University. http://rwwsoundings.com/?page_id=1125
