History

The Reverend Farrell became pastor of the church 1908 when it was still a small frame building. His earnest devotion to his ministry attracted many new people and the congregation expanded to such an extent that a larger and more commodious building was needed. A collection to raise the funds was started in September 1909 and the cornerstone of the new building was laid in May 1910. The building was completed and dedicated on May 18, 1911.
