History
St. Paul's Preparatory Academy was founded by controversial Anti-Muslim Conversative Preacher Gene Lingerfelt and his wife, Sue in 1988. After Lingerfelt posted Anti-Muslim comments on Twitter comparing Muslim immigrants to terrorists and the coffee chain Starbucks,the academy got a controversial reputation and some hate messages. Lingerfelt hasn't responded to this controversy yet.
Lingerfelt also caused two other minor controversies by calling school districts teaching young children about homosexuals and homosexuality a "... school district that's perverting the youth..." in another Twitter post. The other controversy refers to Lingerfelt calling all men that are 18 and older who play video games "...possessed by a retarded spirit..." in a since deleted YouTube video from his founded church, the Faith Christian Center in Arlington, Texas. Lingerfelt has also given YouTube channels complaining about his churches video making fun of men 18 or older who play video games copyright strikes, many of which that have since been disputed as a false strike.
