St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church is an Eastern Orthodox church in Burlington, North Carolina. The church houses a Greek Language School, the Philoptohos Society, and hosts Burlington's annual Greek Festival.

History

St. Katherine's opening Divine Liturgy service was held on November 28, 1971 led by Archbishop Iakovos of America. Local dignitaries were also in attendance, including Gov. Robert W. Scott. The church expanded to include a fellowship hall in 1991. On April 28, 2007 St. Katherine's was officially consecrated by the Archdiocese, raising its status from a mission church to a regular parish.
