St. Bridgid's Camp or St. Bridgid's Summer Camp or sometimes commonly misspelled St. Bridgit's Summer Camp is a small summer camp located near on the shores of Lac Manitou located on Highway 105 and is around 75 km from Ottawa, Ontario. The camp has cabins in which the campers can sleep in each having 9 bunk beds(For 8 campers and 1 counselor for each cabin). It also has a deck with benches for easy gatherings and a basketball hoop. Swimming is probably by far the camp's best feature, with the camp allowing the children to swim in Lac Manitou and lifeguards that stand by for safety. The camp also has a "world-famous" mud-pit where the children (given the mud-pit is open) can drench themselves in mud until they are all grey and can then go and wash off in the lake. It also has an area with picnic tables and a dining hall, which is where breakfast, lunch and supper are eaten. The dining hall also has washrooms. Registration is available around Late April to Early May. During the camp's two peak months(July and August), the camp features a month where only boys are allowed to attend (July), and a girl's month (August), when only girls are allowed to attend.
