St. Andrew's Secondary School, Adikpo, popularly known as SASSA, is located along Ikyogen Road, Adikpo, Kwande Local Government Area, Benue State, Nigeria.

History and operations

SASSA was established by the Roman Catholic Mission in 1967 and graduated her first set in 1971. The school was started at St Ann's Primary School, Adikpo before moving to the present site on Ikyogen Road Adikpo. Her first principal was Rev Fr Herbert Noonan while the first Nigerian principal was Mr J. A. Suswam. Fr Noonan later went to Rome in 1985 as the Holy Ghost Fathers' Secretary General before his death on 9 October 1986.

SASSA is a single-sex (only boys) school which operates the part-boarding and part-day system with hostel facilities as well as sporting facilities.

St Andrew's is a science school with well-equipped laboratories. The school has always done well in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) SSCE. Over the years, her SASSA has grown to become a renowned school to be reckoned with as her graduates have gone ahead to excel in their various professions.
