Spilosoma karschi

Spilosoma karschi is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Bartel in 1903. It is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Malawi, Nigeria, Togo and Uganda.

Description

Male

Head, thorax, and abdomen orange-yellow; antennæ brown, the shaft whitish above; palpi, pectus, legs, and ventral surface of abdomen except terminal segment brown. Fore wing uniform yellow. Hind wing yellowish white.

Female

Fore and hind wings orange-yellow.

Exp. 32-44 millim.
