The SpectorDance Company is a professional dance company located in Marina, CA. Led by artistic director and choreographer Fran Spector Atkins, the company's repertoire focuses on modern dance that integrates music, spoken word and visual technology. The company was selected by The Arts Council for Monterey County as the Outstanding Arts Organization in Monterey County in January 2007 and was a finalist for the Ovations TV award for Excellence in the Performing Arts. The company was also recently featured in the journal of the National Endowment for the Arts.
