Lyrics

Sweet Maiden, bright Maiden, May I linger with you ? “ I have much to see, Let it be another day, One word of welcome I will be patient still ; Sweet Maiden, shy Maiden, May I wander with you ? ” You are nought to me, What am I to answer now ? Wander alone then, Yet she smiles upon me, True Maiden, dear Maiden, I will say a new word, ” You may whisper softly, Yes, I will hear you out, Hear me and heed me, Yes, her lips are smiling ;--
