The South Wellesley Islands, located south of the Wellesley Islands in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Queensland, are (west to east):

  • Allen Island
  • Horseshoe Island
  • Albinia Island
  • Bentinck Island, where a massacre of indigenous inhabitants occurred in 1918.
