Importance

Kanji Swami, a mystical teacher of Jainism, spent about forty years at Songadh so the village has become major pilgrim place of his Digambara Jain followers.

Overview

Its main temple complex contains the following temples:

  1. Param Agam Mandir, literally meaning Temple of Sacred Texts. Walls of this temple are carved with the Digambar Jain sacred texts of Samayasāra.
  2. Jin Mandir.
  3. Swadyay Mandir, literally meaning Temple of Study.
  4. Nandishwar Deep Mandir.
