"Song on the Radio" is a song written and performed by Al Stewart. The song reached No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 27 on the Cash Box Top 100 and No. 29 on the Canadian pop singles chart in the spring of 1979.
The song was a considerably larger Adult Contemporary hit, reaching number 10 on the U.S. AC chart, and spent three weeks at number three on the Canadian AC chart.
"Song on the Radio" appeared on his 1978 album, Time Passages. It was produced by Alan Parsons.
