Song Chang-Sik (born 2 February, 1947) is a South Korean folk singer-songwriter. He is well known for denying the traditional Solfège (both Korean and Western), and re-interpreting the melody on his own. These melodies can be hardly written with traditional note system, as he "creates" notes that never existed.b
He still remains as one of the most important figure in Korean music history.
