Small drum corps association
Small Drum Corps Association (SDCA), was founded in 2007 by Chris Ferrara, an alumnus of the Chicago Royal Airs and Bugler's Hall of Fame inductee. SDCA provides a friendly competitive venue for smaller drum corps many who are community based, parade only, or competitive in Drum Corps International or Drum Corps Associates. Typically held in conjunction with a community event, hosted SDCA shows emphasize crowd engagement, entertainment value, and friendship by often featuring crowd judging, massed horn selections, and large audiences.
