Småhausane Nunataks

The Småhausane Nunataks (71°33′S 25°18′E) are small nunataks, 1,180 metres (3,870 ft) high, standing between Mount Fidjeland and Nordtoppen Nunatak on the north side of the Sør Rondane Mountains. They were mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47. They were named Småhausane ("the small crags") by the Norwegians.
