The Slav and German Lists (Liste di Slavi e Tedeschi) were political parties founded in Italy in support of German and Slav minorities in Northern Italy, especially in South Tyrol and Venezia Giulia.
History
The Lists were founded by the Slav autonomist Josip Vilfan and the German one Eduard Reut-Nicolussi. The Lists were formed for the 1921 general election gaining 1.3% of the vote and 9 seats in the Chamber of Deputies.
In the 1924 general election the Lists gained 0.9% with only 4 seats.
In 1922 the party opposed the formation of the Fascist government of Benito Mussolini, who as an Italian nationalist forbade the non-Italian languages.
The Lists were abolished as al the non-fascist parties, by the regime.
