The Sistranser Bach also: Sistrans Creek originates near Sistrans Alpine Hut in Tyrol, Austria, at an altitude of 1.400–1.600 metres. The creek is formed of 5 source creeks of nearly the same size, which look like a fan on the map. It flows from north to south and passes through the villages of Sistrans and Aldrans.

Near Castle Ambras the creek splits in two arms. The side arm flows in the Castle park and forms the "Castle Fall", a waterfall with a height of 20 metres. The main arm flows along the Castle wall and merges in the district Amras (Innsbruck) from the right into the Lanser brook, which merges again into the Inn River. The creek has a length of 6 km (4 mi).

The Sistranser Bach has excellent water quality: A Grade, and provides the surrounding villages with 5 water reservoirs with drinking water. Small fish such as trout can be found in the creek.
