Professor Sirimevan Widyasekera is the Professor of Medical Physics and Dean of the Faculty of ICT and Media at the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine Sri Lanka.
Sirimevan after receiving his education from Nalanda College Colombo and graduated from University of Colombo with a Bachelor of Science specialising in Physics. Later he graduated from Uppsala University Sweden with a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics.
