Silvio Appiani (April 5, 1894 – October 20, 1915) was an Italian football forward.
He has been named after the homonym stadium in Padua.
Career
He made his debut with the May 4, 1913 with Padova in the Campionato Veneto di Promozione. In the 1913-14 season will play 2 games, against Petrarca and against Udinese. In 1914, Calcio Padova wins the Campionato Veneto-Emiliano di Promozione and go to the Prima Categoria dell'Italia Settentrionale culminating in fourth place behind Vicenza, Hellas Verona and Venezia. Driver and gunner of the team it was Silvio Appiani, who scored 18 goals in 14 games. In 1915 won the Coppa Veneta.
Enlist in the army during World War I, died on October 20, 1915, on Kras only 21 years due to an Austrian bombardment.
