Sillawit is one of the barangays of Cauayan City, Isabela, Philippines that lies between its neighboring barrios, Alinam and Nungnungan. According to the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), it has a population of 2,885.

Etymology

Sillawit have its name from the name of a small creek in the place. The people leaving in the place in the early times had the idea to name the barrio after it.

History

Sillawit was founded in 1947 which is also the year to get its original name. It was first settled by the families of Doroteo Soriano, Reodoro Balantac, Domingo Evangelista and Marcelo Pascua.
