Shuva Ratri (: Good Night) is a 2011 Nepali civil war short film. It was directed by Nischal Poudyal. This short film is about a wounded rebellion soldier who shelters himself in an abandoned cottage where he is about to encounter the enemy sided state army soldier. This film won the jury prize at the Nepal Army short film competition in 2011.

Plot

In 2002, during the bloodiest civil war in Nepal, A wounded rebellion survivor sets on a journey to shelters himself in a deserted cottage where he is about to discover his enemy side state army officer hiding inside it. Fatigued and frustrated from the war, both of them fraternize with each other and get to know the men who live on the opposite side of a brutal war, in what became a true lesson of humanity.
