Shortcut Col (64°16′S 59°13′W) is a wide col rising to over 460 m immediately south of Mount Hornsby, Trinity Peninsula. Mapped from surveys by Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960–61). So named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) because this col provides a useful shortcut, avoiding the long detour through Longing Gap.
