Shimmering Icefield (76°39′S 159°44′E) is an icefield between the Shipton and Tilman Ridges in the Allan Hills, Oates Land. Reconnoitered by the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program (NZARP) Allan Hills Expedition (1964) who gave the name because of its frequently nacreous luster when viewed against the sun.
