Sherwood Brewer (August 16, 1923 – April 15, 2003) was a former member of the Negro Leagues. He played for a number of teams including the Chicago American Giants, the Indianapolis Clowns, the Kansas City Monarchs, the Seattle Steelheads, as well as the Harlem Globetrotters. Brewer was a veteran of the US Army and served in World War II and the Korean War. He died in 2003 at the age of 79.
