Shaun Smith was the manager of the Ra'anana Express in the Israel Baseball League.
Smith is Australian. He coaches in Sydney Major League, the highest level of play in Australia, and has coached the Auburn Orioles and New South Wales. Express player Dane Wigg also played for Smith in Australia. He was the pitching coach of the 1998, 2005, and 2007 Australian national teams, assistant coach of the 1998 and 1999 teams, and head coach of the 2000 team and in 2010, after leading his NSW U/18 team to the 2010 AAA National championship, he was added to the coaching staff for the AAA Australian team.
Smith has spent significant time on player development. He has coached men's, boys, and women's teams.
