Sharonville Transmission is a Ford Motor Company transmission factory in Sharonville, Ohio. Sharonville has long been the backup site for production overflows from Livonia Transmission, and currently produces transmissions for the Ford Crown Victoria rear wheel drive sedans. Ford is cutting some production at Sharonville as those products near the end of their lifespan, but the plant is likely to continue with workers transferring from the Batavia Transmission plant as that factory is closed. Sharonville's heavy transmission product is the 5R110W 5-speed transmission used in its F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks. This product's life ended in 2010. Sharonville was recently awarded $200M and the 6R140 6-speed transmission program which will replace the 5R110W at the end of its production run.
