Shannah Trailor (born 1983) is an African-American author who was born in Chicago.

Her first book, It Ain’t So, was published in 2005. It is divided into three sections: Advice, Short Story, and A Poetry Corner. The first section gives advice for difficult situations, such as poverty and addiction. The second section contains a short story describing the loss of her child. The final section shares some of Trailor’s thoughts about love, life, and religion.
