Shane Williams (born 1971/2) is an American karateka or expert in karate. He has reached the rank of Grand Master.

Martial arts experience

Grand Master Shane Williams began training in 1978 at age 6. He was promoted to first-degree black belt in June, 1984. In 1991, at age 19, he opened his first dojo in Lewisville, North Carolina. He opened his second dojo, KI Mocksville, in 1993 at age 21. He opened the Clemmons dojo in January 1994. He was promoted to 8th-degree black belt in October 1999. He was promoted to Grand Master in December 2007. He was testing for his 10th-degree black belt in December 2013.

Dojos

Williams currently teaches instructors in more than ten dojos, including Lewisville, Elkin, Jonesville, Winston-Salem, Midway, West Winston, Clemmons, Yadkinville, Pfafftown, Statesville, and Advance.

Outside karate

In addition to his karate accomplishments, Williams earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, an Associate degree in Business Administration, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Martial Science from Southern Indiana Bible College. He worked as a teacher's assistant at Lewisville Elementary School. He has been inducted into the Kickboxing Hall of Fame. He is the founder of Media Fit Strategic Marketing & Advertising, and founding partner of Vela Media Fit Strategic Marketing & PR.
