Shaiza Said Khan (born March 18, 1969) is a former female cricket player from Pakistan. She was a member of the national Women's team in Pakistan and the Punjab Women Cricket Team. Shaiza Khan was the pioneer of Women's Cricket in Pakistan. She was the first captain of Pakistan Women's ODI and Test matches. Shaiza Khan is currently a World Record Holder. She holds the world record for Highest Wickets in a Test Match (13 wickets) against West Indies in 2004 in Karachi. During her 13 wicket haul she also got a Hatrick which is only the second in women's test history after Betty Wilson.She still holds the record for the best bowling in a test match(13-226)

Shaiza Khan captained Pakistan in 3 Test Matches and 40 One Day International Matches.

Shaiza Khan was born in Karachi and since childhood had a keen interest in sports especially cricket. Shaiza Khan was the third child amongst four siblings (3 sisters & 1 brother).

Shaiza Khan attended the Convent of Jesus & Mary Karachi and the joined the Concord College Shorshire for her O & A Levels. She later on went to University of Leeds where she studies Textile Engineering.

Shaiza Khan pursued her passion for cricket whilst studying in UK and also became the first Non British Captain for the University Of Leeds Women's Cricket Team.

She also holds the record for taking the most number of wickets on a single ground in Women's One Day International history(23 wickets at National Stadium, Karachi)
