Shahrdad Sajjadi

Shahrdad G. Sajjadi (born 1961) is a mathematician and professor of theoretical fluid mechanics at Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida.

Sajjadi is known for his formulation of Miles–Benjamin theory to fully nonlinear Stokes waves. His work over the last thirty years has focused on energy transfer from wind and turbulent shear flows to surface water waves, extension of the Benjamin–Fier instability to three-dimensional waves, oblique waves and fully nonlinear Stokes waves.
