Shabaki is a dialect of the Indo-Iranian language Gorani spoken by the Shabak Kurds in Mosul, Iraq. The number of speakers of Shabaki was estimated in 1989 to be between 10,000 and 20,000.

As Shabaki is one of the Zaza–Gorani languages, it is most similar to languages like Gorani (Hewrami) dialects and Zazaki. Because Zaza–Gorani belongs to the Northwestern Iranian branch, it also has similarities to Kurdish languages:
