Seventh order Korteweg–de Vries equation - Alchetron, the free social encyclopedia

The seventh-order KdV equation is a nonlinear partial differential equation in 1+1 dimensions related to the KdV equation. It is defined by the formula

u t + 6 u u x + u x x x − u x x x x x + α u x x x x x x x = 0.

where x and t are real variables and α is a constant.
