The Seoul Shinmun is a daily newspaper in Seoul, South Korea. The original name of the newspaper is Daehan Maeil Sinbo (The Korea Daily News), which was started on July 18, 1904 and was renamed Daily News (Maeil Sinbo) in August 1910. The current name was adopted in November 1945. It publishes nationally around 780,000 issues a day.

With a history of more than 100 years of publication, it is the oldest newspaper in South Korea. It is the only Korean daily newspaper until 1920, when The Dong-a Ilbo began publishing.
