Selimiye Hatun (c. 1525 - c. 1605) was a consort to Ottoman Sultan Selim II. She was the mother of Sehzade Abdullah of the Ottoman Empire

Biography

She was born in Venice, Italy in 1525. She entered the harem of Mihrimah Sultan and Mihrimah gifted Selimiye to her brother Sehzade Selim (later Sultan Selim) and became one of his favourite concubines. In 1543 at Manisa she gave birth to her son Sehzade Abdullah (died 1566). She died in exile in 1605 at the Palace of Trabzon.
