The single was famous for being co-written by Coldplay singer Chris Martin, who played on the track and provided backing vocals.

Music video

The song's music video, directed by W.I.Z, which won the "Best Video Award" at the 2004 MOBO awards, was shot in Cuba and featured Jamelia in the army as one of the soldiers. Jamelia said about the video, in an interview with the BBC, "I just wanted it to be different - it would have been so predictable if it was just me in a short skirt, my legs out - and I'm not a predictable person. I was trying to be fresh so that people stay interested in me." Jamelia also commented in the same interview, "It's basically about a relationship where someone doesn't speak about having a problem and you can see that they're upset but they're just not talking. It's an irritating situation so I thought I'd write about it."
