Sean Jones (born 26 May 1985) is an Australian ice hockey player currently playing for the Melbourne Mustangs in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Playing career
Jones first played for the Saints Monarchs of the Victorian Ice Hockey Association in 2002. In 2004 Jones signed with the Melbourne Ice of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). Jones competed in only two games in his debut AIHL season and failed to record any points. Jones continued to play for the Ice until the end of the 2010 AIHL season, playing in 69 games for the team and recording 31 points. He also won the 2010 AIHL Championship with the Ice after they defeated the Adelaide Adrenaline in the Goodall Cup final. The following season Jones signed with the newly formed Melbourne Mustangs of the AIHL. He is currently in his fourth season with the Mustangs, playing in the 2014 AIHL season.
Jones was first selected to represent Australia in 2002 where he joined the national under-18 team to compete in the 2002 IIHF Asian Oceanic U18 Championship. Australia finished the tournament in second place while Jones recorded seven points in his five games. The following year Jones again played for the national under-18 team at the 2003 IIHF World U18 Championship Division III Group A tournament. In 2004 and 2005 Jones played for the national under-20 team to compete at the IIHF World U20 Championships. He competed in 10 games for the team, recording three points and 55 penalties in minutes. In 2013 Jones was selected for the national senior team to compete in the 2013 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament being held in Zagreb, Croatia. Australia finished the tournament in fourth place while Jones failed to record any points and finished with a plus/minus of zero.
